Hi, I am Casey Blackert.

I have officially been running my own photography business for four years now. I am always looking for ways to grow, try new things, and challenge myself creatively.

I fell in love with photography when I worked for Disney World as a photographer on Main Street in Magic Kingdom. I was there for five months, and during that time I realized how much joy it brought me to capture genuine happiness and love. I would melt every time I was lucky enough to capture a proposal in front of the Castle. When I came home, I knew that I wanted to bring the Magic to Raleigh.

In College, I studied Graphic Design at North Carolina State University (Go Pack!) and take that knowledge with me when it comes to framing my subjects because of my composition skills. My passion for photography drives me to create stunning portraits with the intention that they will be treasured for a lifetime. I gravitate toward bright, warm tones that stay true to color so your photos feel timeless.

Most importantly, everyone is welcome in front of my camera. I know it can feel vulnerable to choose a photographer and trust them with your story, but I want you to feel completely safe and seen here. Love who you love. Be exactly who you are. In front of my lens, you’re encouraged to show up authentically and unapologetically.
